About

A small company in Ilford doing one thing carefully.

Quaysure Homes takes on large houses, guarantees the landlord's rent, and keeps them occupied by people who need a whole home rather than a hotel room. That's the business. There isn't a second half to the pitch.

How it started

Two problems that solve each other.

The three of us kept running into the same two complaints in East London. Landlords with big family houses were losing six to ten weeks a year to voids and refurbishment, then paying an agent a percentage of whatever was left. Meanwhile insurers were putting families of five into two hotel rooms for months, and construction firms were doing the same to their crews.

A five-bedroom house in Ilford solves the second problem. Guaranteeing the rent on it solves the first. Quaysure Homes sits between the two, takes the occupancy risk itself, and gets paid on the margin rather than on a fee.

What we point to is a structure that doesn't depend on trust: a written lease with a fixed figure, a break clause you can use, a photographic inventory, and a rent reserve held against the payments we've committed to. Ask us for any of it before you sign.

The three of us

You'll deal with one of these people, by name.

Ash

Sourcing & landlord agreements

Ash meets every landlord and values every property. He sets the rent figure, which means he's the one who has to be right about it — we'd rather lose a house than agree a number we can't hold for three years.

Olivier

Occupancy & accounts

Olivier builds the relationships that fill the houses: insurers, loss adjusters, contractor firms and relocation agents. He runs the booking calendar and the invoicing, and he's the one who answers a placement request at 8am.

Anith

Property & guests

Anith furnishes each house, manages check-ins and cleans, and handles the call when a boiler stops on a Sunday. Every property is close enough that he can be there the same day.

How we work

Four commitments we'll hold ourselves to.

One number, in writing

The rent we quote is the rent in the lease. We don't reduce it later because occupancy was slower than we hoped.

Faults reported the day we find them

You hear about a leak from us, with photos, not from a bill six months on.

Occupants checked and named

ID verified on every booking, corporate guarantee or deposit held, no unnamed stays.

A break clause you can actually use

Two months' written notice after the first six. Your house, your decision.
